Mary
Iscariot, the biblically unmentioned mother of Judas Iscariot, shares
her story of taking responsibility for her son’s actions and how
she was later freed from false responsibility when her friend Amashia’s
fervent prayers were answered with discerning insights on the issues
of responsibility.
A
performance to make you cry, laugh, and think. Mary Iscariot moves from
a position of prestige, to the depths of guilt and shame,
to redemption, returning as a teacher of women in her time
as well as women of today.
Whether you are a Biblical history enthusiast, a concerned parent,
or simply enjoy a thought-provoking story, this performance will
speak to your heart.
Theater in ancient times consisted of one actor who played all the characters
with the aid of different masks. In period costume, Bobbi Sims plays the
roles of Mary Iscariot, her friend Amashia, and acts as the commentator.

“Thank you so much. What a weight lifted! Not only
have I realized these choices were not mine, but God does things in his
time, not mine.” Donna G
“Thanks for the revelation and the exampling of God the
teacher, yet Adam and Eve chose to disobey.’” Evon E.
“A true inspiration and reveals life as real as it
gets. The guilt presentation was glorious and reached the inner-self in me
as an individual, as a mother, as a sister, and a daughter and wife.”
Martha G
“Thank you! Oh--our baggage of guilt. This morning, I
walk a little lighter because I let go of guilt. Annie C.
“The guilt I feel as a mother and grandmother is
enormous and I have been carrying it everyday of my life. I am motivated to
get beyond it.” Jeanne E.
“You have taught me that it is not my fault for the
choices my daughter has made.” Sandra
“When you asked the question, ‘Do you blame God for
Adam and Eve’s choice?' WOW! My answer was no! It was such an eye
opener. It really ministered to me when you said, ‘neither, should you blame
yourself for your children’s choices.’ I have five children and this has set
me free! Carmen S.
“I was moved by your presentation. You inspired me to
talk to my mother who lives in another state, who cries at every phone call
over her guilt. She has not forgiven herself. I, too, carry guilt and now I
can make a new beginning of release.” Deanne W.
“You gave me a different perspective on the role of
parent and responsibility for the child. I have never heard your analogy and
I have been in a full Gospel Church for over 25 years. Love it! It liberated
me.’ Hallelujah! Susie B.
“You touched my heart with your message. Thank you for
giving me permission and showing me the way to forgive myself for the
'mistakes' I made when rearing my sons--I feel lighter. GW
“What moved me the most was your main focus on guilt.
I feel and now know to go to my mother and speak to her and set her free.”
